Kadam Badlaav Ke Foundation (“Foundation”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in the handling of donations received through our website and other authorised channels.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which a donation may be cancelled or refunded.
1. Donations
Donations made to Kadam Badlaav Ke Foundation are voluntary contributions intended to support our charitable programmes and activities.
Before completing a donation, donors are requested to carefully verify:
- Donation amount
- Donor name
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Payment details
- Any other information entered during the transaction
Once a donation has been successfully processed, cancellation or refund is generally not permitted, except in the circumstances described below.
2. Eligible Refund Situations
A refund request may be considered in the following circumstances:
A. Duplicate Payment
If the same donation is accidentally processed more than once, the donor may contact us with details of the duplicate transaction.
After verification, the duplicate amount may be refunded.
B. Incorrect or Unauthorised Transaction
If you believe that a transaction was processed incorrectly or without your authorisation, please notify us as soon as possible.
We may request transaction details and supporting information to investigate the matter.
C. Technical or Payment Error
If an amount has been debited from your bank account but the donation was not successfully recorded because of a technical or payment-processing error, please contact us.
We will verify the transaction with the relevant payment gateway or financial institution and take appropriate action.
3. Non-Refundable Donations
Donations that have been successfully processed and properly recorded are generally non-refundable simply because:
- The donor has changed their mind
- The donor no longer wishes to support the selected cause
- The donor entered incorrect personal information
- The donor later decides that they do not wish to participate in the campaign
However, genuine cases may be reviewed individually at the Foundation’s discretion and subject to applicable law.

Please include:

Subject: Donation Refund Request
5. Refund Request Timeline
Refund requests should preferably be submitted within 7 days of the transaction.
Requests submitted after this period may still be reviewed where appropriate, particularly in cases involving duplicate payments, technical errors or unauthorised transactions.
Submission of a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval.
6. Verification
For security and fraud-prevention purposes, we may verify the transaction before approving a refund.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to confirm:
- The identity of the donor
- The transaction
- The payment method
- The reason for the refund
We will not ask you to share confidential credentials such as your UPI PIN, ATM PIN, CVV or banking password.
7. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method, wherever technically possible.
The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
Kadam Badlaav Ke Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways or other third-party financial service providers.
8. Payment Gateway Charges
Where a payment gateway or financial institution has deducted non-refundable processing charges, the amount refunded may be affected by such charges, subject to applicable law and the terms of the relevant payment provider.
9. Tax / Donation Receipts
If a donation receipt or tax-related document has already been issued, the donor may be required to provide or return the relevant documentation where applicable before a refund can be processed.
Any tax treatment of a refund will be subject to applicable law.
10. Changes to This Policy
Kadam Badlaav Ke Foundation may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be published on this page with the updated “Last Updated” date.
